Prior to undertaking any work, we will provide client with written costs information together with our terms of business.
The timescale for applications typically ranges from 3 weeks to 6 months and Human Rights applications from 6 to 11 months, with the possibility of a slightly extended duration based on individual circumstances and the processing timeline of the Home Office. We will however review your case every 6 weeks to 3 months.
Our charges are calculated mainly by reference to the amount of time spent on the file but we can also take into account the complexity of the matter, its importance and urgency. However overall, there is a requirement that our charges should be fair and reasonable.
Although it is always difficult to predict the number of hours work likely to be needed, our best estimate at the onset will be set out in your initial advice letter together with our estimate of costs and disbursements.
