Our charges are calculated mainly by reference to the amount of time spent on the file but we can also take into account the complexity of the matter, its importance and urgency. However, overall there is a requirement that our charges should be fair and reasonable.
Although it is always difficult to predict the number of hours work likely to be needed, our best estimate at the onset will be set out in your initial advice letter together with our estimate of costs and disbursements.
